Women's Bike Shorts

Mountain biking shorts for women are now available. These are baggier than traditional bike shorts and often have pockets. I like having pockets!

Women's mountain bike shorts often come with a liner which is similiar to regular padded bike shorts. Sometimes the liner is removable and sometimes not so always check the description before ordering.

A friend of mine asked me the other day what the heck biking shorts are. So for those of you who might not know, most bike shorts have a chamois or some other type of padding. This will keep you from getting sore on long or rough rides. They are designed to be worn without underwear, besides giving you extra padding they have no seams in the wrong places to cause irritation.

Some people feel a bit too naked without underwear on. In this case you might want to try padded underwear which you can wear with any of your shorts or pants.
