Your
mosquito magnet should be placed in a shady area between you and the breeding
area. Keep the trap as close to the breeding area as possible and 30 to 40 feet
away from the people area. The magnet needs to be in an open area, not near
high grass or plants. Areas with standing water and shady bushes is where the
mosquitoes are most active. You want them to find the trap before they find
you. If you think your trap is not working, you may need to try placing it in
another area.
