Old age sucks! I have to take Proin because I have a weak bladder and I take Rimadyl for my achy joints. Both drugs work great, why can't they find a pill for my itchy skin? It drives me crazy every summer. I get allergy shots and pills, but nothing makes it go away completely. I still chew on myself and spit my hair out all over the floor. A good bath with shampoo formulated for itchy skin helps. Why won't mommy let us move to Alaska?
Rimadyl can be expensive so you may want to try giving some joint supplements to your older dog before things get too bad.
